The making of.

It begins with the lust to wander. All that is needed is a sturdy carry on; your travel buddy, if available; a 50 dollar film camera you bought off of eBay; 5 rolls of 35 mm color film and the will to have an adventure.

Late August, early September 2019 I jumped on a 2 week trip to Italy and Croatia. I traveled with one of my best friends and shot some photos on an analog camera. Back in the states, I returned with 5 rolls. Thus began the making of “Void of Sound, Far From Town”. Throughout the process of this creation I tried my best to capture behind the scenes footage. I did not know however, that I would make a behind the scenes feature on my website. Unfortunately as a result, a good amount of behind the scenes stuff lives on my instagram archive. Oops. This whole process of creating a photo book and creating a website was all new. And just as creating something for the first time goes, you just roll with it. And somehow we’re finally here.
